I always forget how much I love Leon everytime I see it. Possibly best movie ever. Although I normally end up crying at the end. Fantastic performances all round. So good. I often ask if people have seen it and am disappointed by their answers often, methinks I should get people to sit down and have a viewing.

Well things certainly have been insane so far this 2008. 2007 was interesting but overall quite quiet but so far only a few weeks in 2008 has been the craziest year ever!!

Now panic continues today, and I'm currently stressing about Amecon accomodation for many a reason. D: I wish it would sort itself without me thinking about it but I guess it won't D:

On top of this and the huge amount of work and other things I've to do I'm getting an awful craving to sit and finish Eureka 7 finally... which is a good 40 episodes+ of work left still even after 3 years I just haven't progressed. Mainly as I feel it deserves attention I guess so I want to reaaaallllyyy be in the mood for it. Ho hum.

I was going to do a much more interesting post, but got kinda distracted. Oh well lets see if I do one later!

Well I have a lot of work currently aye but what annoyed me today was Templeman Library. All the computer rooms are busy but I like to use them because I'm nearest to books! Why are they always so much busier than everywhere else! Ah well not such a big deal. I think canterbury librarys are irking me more because they just don't seem to have any books I want, even though they aren't new or obscure they are classic volumes which you would expect to be in a damn library! As far as I can tell they don't have a problem getting new and shoddy books in. Meh!

Also Spent a lot recently due to the fact I finally got my minami slot (\o/) which was a fair chunk and then also registrations finally opened for Amecon (\o/ \o/ \o/ seriously this years was the best weekend I've ever had) soooo more money gone although the forums went down quickly with a notice saying they'll be back eventually which sucks. Especially since I had posted a thread asking for requests/ideas for Yaoi themed cosplays that Danov and I shall be utilising almost solely at the con.... *cough*. The yaoi performances we gave out last year went down very well you see! ¬_¬ Personally I also think a certain everlasting_dayshould sign up if they can as it is fantastic! ;) (On a side note why haven't I heard from you for so long Ed! You've not been responding either!! Don't you love me anymore? :( )

Sorting other stuff out too which I think I've got a handle on at last. Not the best outcome I could have hoped for but to be fair theres nothing I could have done so I'm GTFO as I'm not going to be a fucking back up. If that makes sense.

I'm guessing some of you may well get that and Paul thinks I'm being overly cryptic again! :P

Oh and for those that haven't heard yet Mark from Edinburgh shall be visiting on the weekend of the 1st of February so I believe I shall make my birthday celebrations a fantastic WEEKEND that weekend as I think its fairly convienient for me then also! ;) So that should be awesome.

Finally, Martyn have you picked up a chair yet or are we going to have to set aside some time to go chair shopping like some bizarre couple?

I'm pleased although this does mean I'll have to spend more to be absolutely fucked off of my face which iscalled for at times!!

I have finally reached the final case in Phoenix Wright 3. I'm about half way through it I think.

I'm both looking forward to and dreading finishing it as it will be a long time before I can get another fix.

Why do I suddenly feel so very cold....

EDIT: I've also ordered two (hopefully) awesome books from Amazon, Scott Pilgrim No. 4 (At last!) and Stephen Colbert's new book, I have to wait for S.P.s release though it seems as I went for cheap delivery... but I'm looking forward to them both! Apart from Tom though does anyone else I know happen to follow Dr. Stephen T. Colbert's show?

Today I found I still had little to do with my readings not starting properly until next week and no books yet (bloody expensive this year I can get away with a minimum of like 4/5 if I am being scrimpy and share with my housemate and they are £30-40 each!).

However having torrents again means EZTV was open to me! \o/

I began with my morning fix of The Colbert Report, I've been rather addicted to it since about.... march? Its goo, but viacom don't like it being up on any flash/divx web sites or anything.

Then it was time for new TV! Or at least new and semi new as in it isnt brand new really.

Heroes. Season 2. Episode 1. This sneaked up on me. Pretty good a bit of an introduction more than a continuation, looks like Hiro yet again has the greatest segment in the series! :P I'll say no more to not spoil any for some of those that I've just remembered are withheld from the most current information thanks to watching it on the BBC. Oooooh John, if you knew the things I knew....

Then theres a new show I tried. "Chuck". Also on NBC just before heroes. It was quite strange. It entertained me enough though, not sure if I'd be all OMFG ITS AMAZING or anything just yet though. The track played at the end of te episode got me listening to that Brothers Martin album also! I'd recommend people give it a go at least - I know I'll definately be watching more as its out!!

To the Gurren Lagann fans who have not yet heard, I watched on and reached *that* episode or the first *that* episode if there be more... and have currently paused from watching anymore. I love the series. I will say no more to again avoid spoilers.

I also rewatched Blow randomly this evening. Just because it was there.

How have all of you been then? Also have you started Uni again yet Ed?

Ok, I finally have my keys. I can get to Canterbury anytime. However I am not allowed to move in until Sunday. Anytime on Sunday but not before Sunday nonetheless (sp). This fucking sucks and has ruined my timetable. Bleh. Will miss Ali's birthday thingys (sp) also which is a shame. :(

In other news... urmm.... I got my 360 back and have been playing Bioshock like a motherbitch at last. Also managed to get torrents working properly after like 3/4 years. Wewp. Urrrrrmm. Thats all that comes to mind right now.

Yo!

Even though I'm sure all of you were hoping this not to be true, I still live! As this post proves, unless someone has hacked my account. Of course.

It has been far too long since I've posted sooooo I'll have to try to summarize events far too briefly. If I actually put the effort in to this I'll be working away at for a long time bit by bit so before I forget I believe I will insert an almighty:

The Summer has been mainly quiet for me. You can probably tell as I had massive periods where I just seemed to disappear. Sorry. :( I've not seen or heard from some people I thought I'd see at least somewhat frequently *cough*PAULSTEPHENBUTCHER*cough* :P sooooo I'll be looking forward to hearing from people! I am not back in Canterbury myself yet but it looks like I will be by Friday if all goes well!

First thing that immediately stands out for me this Summer (if viewing it chronologically (sp)) was Dir en Grey. It was really really good even though I wasn't sure what to ezpect before hand since they have altered their sound somewhat. The newer stuff is a lot more intense though and I preferred hearing from the older albums but the gig was incredible, the band knew what the hell they were doing.

After this was the most fantastic Amecon!!! The whole weekend was brilliant, from the day before the Journey to the return home, I enjoyed it all. I *could* go into more detail if people wish to hear but some people may rather wait to hear from me in person? (Or already know how great it was :P). Met lots of really cool people and had a lot of fun - definately (sp) going again! So much anime I have to watch after the con though, I'm still hardly into the huge list I've got to work through!!

In between those events I had a haircut as it was a mess, and I was and still am none to pleased with it. As it is I guess it *could* be worse and it may just be me going over the top with it. Might get a bit more off to have a new style to grow out or might just leave it to grow as it is meant too then get it re cut when longer.

Bioshock finally came out a couple of weeks after that also and as Captain Bishop may well remember I was really looking forward to that for ages. My 360 died the week the demo hit. I've still not got it back and won't take it to Canters it seems so no Bioshock for me. :( I finally finished Phoenix Wright 2 last week which I thouroghly (sp) enjoyed and after seeing 3 available with an eglish option at an awesome price it is likely I'll be picking that up.

Randomly trying to find different bands, went through a lot of my music and was quite bored with it mostly, which blows. Got my MSI ticket so that should be awesome! :P Thats pretty much it on the music front. Hmmmm.

Read the odd comic here and there started working my way into Hellblazer after recommendations from two very trustworthy sources (you know who you are :P) which I'm still picking through.

Urrrrm..... Made some purchases, got a new bag at Amecon which will replace the backpack that John left in Cinema 3 and I subsequently lost (¬_¬) which is handy, some new boots and glasses and amongst other bits and pieces a new laptop to replace my PC which was beginning to bitch at me when I got it back here. Also makes travelling much easier. ;)

Looking forward to seeing everyone again, its been really shit being out of touch and not seeing anyone. Not long now though! Everyone been well then as of late?

Side note: Ayame Sohma from Fruits Basket is possibly one of the greatest characters ever based on his introduction episode in the Anime :P
